Crown Court workload: receipts, disposals and open cases

Quarterly Crown Court case volumes, separated by case type and reporting court, using the official Ministry of Justice workload tool.

Receipts and disposals are flows during a quarter; open cases are a stock at quarter end. Do not add open cases across quarters. Open does not mean overdue, and these figures measure cases rather than defendants or hearing dates. Offence subcategories are not added to the all-offences total.
